Take in the stunning surrounds and natural contrasts, from Girraween's granite monoliths to the spectacular Condamine Gorge. The region is peppered with accommodation ranging from self contained cottages and studios, B&Bs, historical hotels, and great camping and caravanning spots. Find an abundance of seasonal fruit and vegetables at local markets and fruit shops. There are divinely sweet strawberries, boysenberries and raspberries, the famous Stanthorpe apples as well as stonefruit galore and much more. An abundance of seasonal produce means gourmet goodies are a regional specialty in the Granite Belt. Stock up on local preserves, relishes, chutneys, sauces, jams, vinegars, coulis, ciders, juices and liqueurs and sample handcrafted chocolates, fudge and other sweet treats.
